"Everyone will know I’m a big fan of local artist, Julie Davies. My newest piece of her work is just spectacular.
The first piece of Gwalia Stores in Ogmore Vale, now in St Fagan’s History museum hangs proudly in my Westminster office. It’s special to my wife and I, not only because it’s from the community in which we live, but we got married there just two years ago.
This new piece, of the square in Nantymoel, along with the iconic Pricetown clock (which is now ticking again!) in background is now hanging in my office at home.
I love the colours in all of Julie’s work, the sense that history is coming alive and it’s rich tribute to heritage of the Ogmore Valley.
I shall cherish it."
